As a locum you will be transported from Broome via a local airline, to Fitzroy Crossing on an easy flight in a Cessna conquest. Accommodation is located on hospital grounds, or close to the facility, and suitable for a couple, air-conditioned and self-contained.
The position see you work the Emergency Department and/or GP clinics as well as being rostered to a 1:3 roster. There is the opportunity to provide outreach clinics to surrounding remote communities.
Medical Practitioners must possess the College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP). Previous experience working in rural hospital setting is desirable Also evidence of recent emergency courses completed. Extensive generalist experience and the ability to demonstrate emergency department skills is required for this unsupervised role.
This locum position is offering $2,700.00 per day
